A greatest hits collection from the greatest band ever.
Ok, you know a band is amazing when they have to break up their greatest hits albums into decades. Seriously, who does that? U2 does, and their "The Best of 1980-1990" album contains a plethora of incredible music. Going though the track list is like viewing the lineup for an All-Star Game. The only thing is that all these songs were written by one band!
Basically, this set contains most of the definitive U2 songs. After 1990, the band started to take their music in a different direction and there's a substantial lack of major hits until you get to 2001's "All That You Can't Leave Behind". So if a song is by U2, it's popular, and it wasn't released this millenium, "The Best of 1980-1990" album should be your #1 place to start looking for it.
