The TOP 5 is a legendary tradition. From it's humble start on a bus ride home from a soccer game, the TOP 5 has led to hours of debates, laughs, and all around good times. It's original purpose was to rank the females at school, but the TOP 5 has evolved to include topics from movies, to basketball, to WWF Pay Per Views. The TOP 5 can be used for just about anything. Now I'll admit, the TOP 5 seems so simple, and almost stupid, but it is in that inconspicuous, unassuming nature that the beauty of the TOP 5 really shines.

The TOP 5 reasons why the TOP 5 is the #1 ranking system in the history of the universe:

#5: 5 is the perfect number. A TOP 3 is too limited, and a TOP 10 is way too complicated.

#4: Nothing causes a huge debate like the TOP 5. No one ever agrees with another person's TOP 5, this leads to massive arguments - Always fun times.

#3: When you're on a popular female's TOP 5, other females will put you on their TOP 5 to keep up with the times. After this happens, you'll become a legend.

#2: Looking for a laugh? Put your friend's mom on your TOP 5 to get a rise out of the crowd.

#1: Since the TOP 5 is a system that requires complete honesty, awkward situations always come up. Just like this one...
