Fans face off against former Favorites.
Believe it or not, the 16th season of Survivor is upon us! When the 8th season aired all the way back in 2004, it featured an All-Star cast from the previous seven seasons. If you do the math, it means that we're due for another reunion, this time with the casts of Seasons 9-15. Well, in true Survivor fashion, the producers of the show managed to throw in a little twist this time around. Instead of giving us a slate of 20 returning castaways, they've cut the number down to ten, and they've pitted them against a cast of Survivor fanatics who have dreamt of appearing on the show for years. Nope, there won't be an easy elimination in the bunch this time around, as every one is either a diligent student of the game, or a savvy veteran. With fifteen seasons worth of material to strategize with, this may just be the most competitive season of Survivor ever! So enough with the hype, it's onto the Survivor: Micronesia Blog!
