New areas, items, and mini-Ridley highlight this new Metroid game.
Created By: Litmus Dragon
Game Info: Metroid Remix uses the Zebes map as a starting point, then adds new areas, hides the items and bosses in new places, bumps the difficulty level up a notch, and adds Mini-Ridley to the game. Hopefully this remix of Metroid adds significant replay value to one of the most classic NES games of all time.
Other Notes: Metroid Remix is a rather lengthy game and you will probably want to save your progress at some point. The built-in password system will allow you to keep any abilities and items you've collected, but for the added functionality of save states which will allows you to pick up from the exact point you left off, you can download an NES Emulator and a Metroid Remix game patch which are found on the main Metroid ROMs page.
