Game Info:This is a 100% complete revision of Metroid.The map was totally deleted so the game was built again from scratch. Items are moved, puzzles are changed, and there is no such thing as a dead end. The design is tight and professional. It is hard both mentally and physically and free of design flaws such as having to bomb arbitrary points in the floor or placing enemies so that you get smacked in the face on the way in or out of rooms. Metroid fans should love this! It's essentially a brand new NES Metroid game. If you like Metroid at all, you should pick this up!
Other Notes: Metroid Deluxe is a rather lengthy game and you will probably want to save your progress at some point. The built-in password system will allow you to keep any abilities and items you've collected, but for the added functionality of save states which will allows you to pick up from the exact point you left off, you can download an NES Emulator and a Metroid Deluxe game patch which are found on the main Metroid ROMs page.
