How Ads Work On This Site:

MillionDollarFlashGame.com contains 9,620 blocks of advertising space.  Advertisers are free to purchase any of the available blocks in whatever amount or configuration they choose. After purchasing the blocks, advertisers can then supply the image to fill those blocks, which will link to their site. Purchased ads will be run on this site for a minimum of five years. In addition, since text links are so valuable to websites, all advertisers who purchase blocks will have a text link to their site added to the "Advertisers" section.

Pricing:

The advertising real estate on this site works by the same principles in actual real estate - location is everything!  It's fairly obvious that the blocks located closely to the game will receive much more attention than those which are out in the middle of the board. So I've adjusted the price of certain blocks to account for this difference. Even so, my guess is that the higher priced blocks will still be well-worth the greater investment.  Here's the pricing plan:

To clear up two questions you may have, there's no actual difference between the grey and green blocks.  The green blocks simply serve as markers to help advertisers determine location on the board.  If you purchase a green block, it will function like any other block. 

Secondly, the reason for the price difference between PayPal and check payments is to account for the surcharge from receiving funds through PayPal.

Terms and Conditions:

• Advertisements can only be purchased "by the block".  You can buy as many blocks as you'd like, up to whatever number are available. 
   
• Advertisements will run for either five years or until six months after all the blocks are sold, whichever comes later. 
  
  For example, if you buy your blocks on January 1st, 2008 and the blocks sell out on February 1st, 2008, your ad will stay up until January 1st, 2013 - five years after you purchased them.
  
  If you buy your blocks on January 1st, 2008 and the blocks sell out on January 1st, 2015, your ad will stay up until June 1st, 2015 - six months after the blocks sold out
   
• By purchasing blocks you are simply obtaining the rights to have your image and link placed on my site in the spot you purchased. Purchasing blocks in no way gives you ownership over those blocks or any part of this site.
   
• Absolutely no inappropriate images or links to inappropriate sites will be accepted. This includes, but is not limited to, image or links to sites that contain or promote adult content, violence, racism, profanity, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, casinos, or any illegal content. I have the final say in what is considered inappropriate. 
   
• If the image or link that you submit is deemed inappropriate, you may submit another image or link.  If you do not wish to submit another link or image, you will lose the rights to your ad block and your money will be refunded. 
   
• If you have any questions as to whether a submitted image or link is considered inappropriate, you can always email them to me for approval beforehand at derok21@yahoo.com.
   
• If the link to your site is approved and the content of your site is changed to something that is considered inappropriate, your image and link will be removed until either the site's content is changed or you provide an alternate link. If you do not make changes to your site or provide an alternate link within 30 days of notice, you will lose the rights to your ad block. You will not received a refund.
   
• Once your image and link are published on the site, you can not get a refund.
   
• No changes to your image or link can be made once they are published.  The only exceptions to this are if your site no longer exists and you wish to switch your link to a new site, or for legal reasons.
   
• If you wish to have your image and link removed from the site, you may do so.  However, you will not receive a refund and you will lose your rights to those ad blocks.
   
• Submitted images must match the dimensions of their respective ad blocks.  Every block is 10x10 pixels.  If you purchase multiple adjacent blocks, you do not need to submit an individual image for each block.
  
  For example, if you purchased a section of ads that was eight blocks wide by three blocks high, you can submit an 80x30 image to fill those blocks
   
• JPEG, GIF, PNG, or Bitmap are the only acceptable format for images.  Please limit the image to a reasonable file size.
   
• Absolutely no animated images will be accepted.
   
• Links must only be to web pages.  No links to files will be allowed.  Links must begin with http://
   
• You must be authorized to provide the images and links for the website that will be advertised.
   
• Images and links will not be posted until payments have been received and cleared.
   
• Once payment has cleared, every attempt will be made to post your advertisement online within 48 hours.
   
• The site may experience periodic downtime for site maintenance or problems with hosting.  However, this downtime should be minimal and will be resolved as soon as possible.
