"Hot Fuss", The Killers debut album certainly caused a fuss in the music world. This indie band burst onto the scene with it's first hit "Somebody Told Me" and never looked back as they soared in popularity. Songs like "Mr. Brightside", and "Smile Like You Mean It" also took off and became some of 2005's biggest hits. If there is one problem with this incredible album, it's that it's too good. The Killers' popularity caused radio stations to mercilessly beat their songs into the ground. And the sheer excellence of this first record almost guarantees that The Killers second release will be a letdown. Still, you can't knock great music. And "Hot Fuss" is certainly full of it.
