Take a trip at "The Speed of Sound" to some amazing music.
Coldplay's 3rd album, X&Y, gives further credence to idea that Chris Martin and Co. are on their way to becoming the world's biggest band. In X&Y, Coldplay's sound takes a step away from the repetitive chords of "A Rush of Blood To the Head" and takes a turn toward the melodic sounds of U2's "The Unforgettable Fire". While X&Y may lack the "chart-topping" hit like "Yellow" or "Clocks", feature songs like "Speed of Sound" and "Talk" have become popular enough to interest casual listeners. And Coldplay fans everywhere have found a brand-new theme song in "Fix You".
All in all, Coldplay's X&Y manages to serve up a little bit of everything from rock to dance music and from darker songs to flowery ballads. It's the best album from the best band in the world. And what could be better than that?
