Have we really stunk for SIX years now?  Has it really been eight years since that dumb kid reached over the wall and robbed us in the ALCS?  Has it been seven since the umps screwed us over against Cleveland?  I'm getting old.  And so is stinking it up year after year.  Can Eddie save us?  Can he at least get us to at least 3rd?  Here's Hoping...

Here's the beauty - The Red Sox beat the A's, then their hated rivals the Yankees.  Boston fans are going crazy!  This is it, the curse will be lifted!  Our redemption is near!  80 years of suffering are ending!

Then they get blanked by the Marlins - a "who-couldn't-care-less" expansion team that will have won it's second title in seven years!

The ultimate slap in the face to the Red Sox nation!
