The Orioles, Yankees, and Red Sox are neck and neck atop the AL East.

MLB Mid-Season Report

The pennant race couldn't be any tighter in the AL East.  The Baltimore Orioles have given up their lead to the Red Sox, and are neck and neck with the red-hot Yankees in a race to overtake them.  The NL East is tight as well with all five teams still vying for the title.  When the races get this close there's usually one determining factor that decides it all... Who's going to go on a hot streak.  It's all about the second half surge as we journey on past the All-Star game.  It's the teams that can reel off seven or eight straight wins who will take the crown, and the teams that lose seven or eight straight who will be on the outside looking in.

Major League Baseball 2005 Archive

Steroids have ruined the game of baseball in 2005.
The Orioles, Yankees, and Red Sox are neck and neck atop the AL East.
The Orioles are white-hot a quarter of the way through 2005.
Tons of off-season player movement should make 2005 interesting.

MLB Teams

My favorite team, and the one that brought the world Cal Ripken Jr.
Any team that's an arch-rival to the Yankees, is alright in my book.
The "other" baseball team from New York is a diamond in the rough.
The true "Evil Empire" is baseball's most corrosive force.
