When the Counting Crows burst onto the scene back in the mid-90's with their smash-hit "Mr. Jones", it was clear that music fans everywhere had just discovered something special. However, the Crows' musical style definitely didn't fit the main-stream style of most radio stations, and after a couple hits like "Round Here" and "A Long December", the band faded from the public eye. Of course that didn't stop the Counting Crows from continuing to pump out quality albums filled with their unique imagery and one-of-a-kind sound. Over a decade removed from their initial album release, the Counting Crows are still going strong. And their latest record "Hard Candy" has once again propelled them into the mainstream with lots of play both on the radio and in movies. Look like Adam was right when he said "Mr. Jones and me, we're gonna be big stars".
