Archeaologists and historians love to dig up and examine things from years past. 3,000 years from now when some nerd is excavating over what used to be New Jersey, I'd like to think he'd find my Mr. T bobble head and think to himself "Man, that's some impressive bling!" You see, as much as the pyramids and hyroglyphics were part of the culture of Ancient Egypt, Bob Barker, Hulk Hogan, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a part of ours. This section of DeROK.Net is dedicated to the people, shows, and things in life that have managed to become a part of who we are as Americans. Well, at least 20-something male Americans. (Sorry, Rainbow Brite fans.)
As it currently stands this area is divided into two main parts, The Classics and the Hall of Legends. While there is some overlap between the two, they each serve a distinct purpose. The Classics is a tribute to those people and shows of yesterday who have somehow managed to transcend time and are just as enjoyable today as they were when they first showed up on the scene. The Hall of Legends is dedicated to a select group of people who never seem to get the credit, or discredit that they truly deserve. They're an unusual breed of celebrities who never end up on the front page of People despite being incredibly talented or untalented at what they do. Together, these two sections contain some of the funniest and most popular content that DeROK.Net has to offer. I hope you enjoy your trip down memory lane!
